The Evo Garage Mugen DC5 race car has longed for this day, first time out after the upgrade to its suspension, mounts and tires. The old Öhlins came out in place for Mugen N1 coilovers. Alex race mounts were replaced with Hasport billet mounts using the super hard urethane inserts. After maxing out the capabilities of the Yokohama Advan A048, both of the DC5s are now using Hoosier R6 tires. Even though with a wonderful performance, target times were not met this month. Much anticipation will be expected from the Mugen DC5 after some fine-tuning next month.

Coming in late this year, the DC5 is only now going though its upgrades. Couple of the major changes this year will be the install of Mugen N1 coilovers & corner balancing of the car. Today the old Öhlins PCV using Swift 140 (14K front) and 160 (16K rear) springs came out. To its replacement, a set of Mugen N1 rocking Swift 160 fronts, 280 rear springs and Cusco camber plates.
